Sandiettes Take Second In District

Groveton piled up 241 points to run away with the District 20-2A girls track championship and the Grapeland Sandiettes took second with 167 points during competition April 15-16. Centerville finished third with 123 points and Lovelady was fourth with 39.

The top four finishers in each event qualify for area competion on Thurday, April 23 at Grapeland.

Lovelady had area qualifiers in five events:
