CJH Wins District South Zone In Academic UIL Competition

On Friday, Dec. 13, 77 Crockett Junior High School traveled to Onalaska where they scored a total of 1,315 points to win the South Zone AAA District 21AAA Academic UIL competition. The CJH students won 149 awards and placed in all 60 events of the 18 categories. Students achieved 21 first-place awards and won 16 first-place team awards. "We are so excited about winning first place! They worked so hard!" Principal Judy Leediker and CJH UIL Director Beth Stewart exclaimed.
