When it came time to go home Monday afternoon, June 13, employees at the Turner Building located at 603 East Goliad Avenue (across the street from the Crockett Post Office) were startled to find a 1990 Pontiac Bonneville blocking their exit.
Crockett Police Department officials reported a 2013 Chevrolet pick-up, driven by David Waldrep 33, of Crockett was traveling east on Goliad when the Pontiac, driven by Arzell Robbins, 85, of Crockett, was traveling south on Sixth Street, apparently failed to yield the right of way.

The truck received front end damage and the car halted at the entrance to the Turner Building. No serious injuries were reported, and the building's door reportedly was not damaged ... not even a crack.

The Crockett Fire Department and Houston County Emergency Medical Services also responded to the accident.
